The Order of the Knights of the Holy Cross is a contemporary ecumenical chivalric order with a Christian character. It brings together spiritual formation, fellowship and responsible service to God, people and the common good. It is open to Christians from different Trinitarian church traditions, with respect for their identity.
Membership is open exclusively to Christians professing Trinitarian faith, regardless of their church affiliation. Every member retains full membership in their own church community.
The project is in its organizational phase and is being prepared by the Organizing Team of the First Organizational Assembly. The Assembly will appoint the Founding Chapter. The Founding Chapter will establish a transitional General Chapter, which will elect the Grand Master and guide the Order through canonical approval and subsequently the acquisition of legal status.
